i thought i was gonna die.
..okay, maybe i exaggerate it a bit too much but seriously though, i did though i was gonna die. definitely the worst night of my life so far.
so, i’ve been sick these couple days. nothing serious though, just sore throat, flu, mild fever, and cough. i could say i’m familiar with those all because i seem to be getting those a lot. anyway, yesterday was a little bit different though.
i couldn’t sleep. i had trouble breathing normally i had to breathe through my mouth. my body felt like it was burning i could swear my feet was on fire. oh, and i began hearing voices. it was scary.
i tried fixing my pillow and blanket to help make myself feel better but it didn’t help. in fact, i felt worse. so i got out of my bed, went to the dining room, and prepared myself a loaf of bread with chocolate topping and a glass of water. i’m not even sure myself why i did that but that’s what i did, out of nowhere. i sat there quietly, ate my bread, drank my water, and went back to bed after.
i felt a little bit better but not for long. i curled in my bed, blanket covering my whole body, and then… i started praying. …yea, i just prayed. and prayed, and prayed, and prayed, and somehow i managed to fall asleep.
i woke up this morning, feeling much, much, much better than last night. apparently i’m not dead yet. and i’m so thankful for that.

first post!
yay for first post in my new (and last) blog! :D some introductory thingie:
- my name is Rachmat Lianda (duh?). i’m just graduated from college and by the time this post is written i’m still jobless and haven’t done any single thing to make it otherwise.
- i love photography and anything art related (which you probably already know in case you’re here from my porfolio). i’m considering a freelance job since i practically not doing anything at the moment so if you’re interested just contact me!
- i’ve had two previous blogs before. one for when i was so active in friendster during my teenage years (which seems to have been deleted by me) and the other is something i was gonna make my online journal by posting daily but ended up another way around since i’m really prone to procrastination.
- i wrote in lowercase most of the time because i’m so used to that. i know it violates the rule of proper typing and i did try to fix that but it didn’t feel ‘right’ and i didn’t feel like me so i went back to this kind of typing. of course there is still possibility for this to change in the future but as for now i’m happy with this.
- i’m still weighing whether to write this blog in my native language which is indonesian (or bahasa — don’t really like that word) or english. each has their own advantages and disadvantages but by this time i’m leaning more towards english. still, this could be subject to a change.
i guess that’s the gist of it. more will be discovered throughout the upcoming posts so stay tuned. :D
