a couple friends already recommended this movie to me but i underestimated it at first because i thought it’s just another superhero movie. so i decided to give it go and guess what, i couldn’t more wrong. this movie totally live up to its name.
aside from the great plot and storyline, the music is also EFFING AMAZING. i’m not gonna say much about how awesome this movie is because 1) i’m at loss for words and 2) you have too experience it yourself to understand why. :)) but i have to say my favourite scenes involves Hit Girl. you’ll know which when you see it. :D
i admit that often i went all crazy and euphoric after watching some movies but when the craziness stays and the euphoria lingers, i know i have to watch this again for the second time. and maybe third and fourth.
a frickin’ 10/10. hell, 11 if i could say so myself.
i’m talking about the movie in case you’re wondering (though with all these hype i highly doubt that). just watched the movie, past 1 AM here, and i just have to turn on my computer and write something about it.

if you know me, you probably know that i very rarely said that so yes, it’s that good (well, at least for me). i put it on a pedestal because it’s in a different league from all those movies i’m crazy about. (August Rush, I Am Sam, and Ratatouille to name a few.)
maybe it’s because i don’t even see the trailer or read the movie review/synopsis. maybe it’s because i went in with an empty cup, no expectation whatsoever though i’ve heard people talking about how good it is but that’s it. maybe it’s because i can understand the kind of work that went into it and the kind of standard needed to achieve that kind of result. maybe it’s because i love nature and i can easily find a personal connection between and the movie. maybe it’s simply because the movie is just so fucking awesome. ..or maybe it’s because all those maybes i mentioned.
i don’t know, i don’t care. all i know, all i care, is that the movie is just.. WOW. damn, i’m so and still in awe i don’t know what to say! if you haven’t seen it then what are you waiting for, go get a ticket and see it! highly recommended.

beautiful, beautiful movie! i cried like a baby watching it. my eyes are now all swollen. can’t even imagine what it would do to me if i were a father. i’ll watch this movie again when i’m one. (more…)
have you seen the movie? if you haven’t then i think you should. i personally think it’s so much better than “The Da Vinci Code“. highly recommended by me. :D
about the movie, well i’m not a Catholic, so perhaps i have a rather different view about the movie because i’m not that closely related. however, i still could relate to it in one way or another. i might not be a really religious person but i do believe in God.
what awed me so much about this movie, aside from its stunning visual presentation (Rome is #2 in my “must visit list” now lol), is how it portrays the relationship between religion and science. i personally believe that religion and science are not two clashing side, i think they complement each other, that’s why i really like what Cardinal Strauss said nearing the end of the movie.
i guess i have to read the book too. :D
